The 3rd Skye Food & Drink Festival kicks off at An Crubh, Duisdale, on Monday afternoon (24 June) with a fun Ready, Steady Cook event starring Skye’s celebrity chefs Marcello Tully, from Kinloch Lodge, and Scott Davies, of the Three Chimneys.
Against the clock, these two culinary giants will be given a mystery bag of ingredients specially chosen by Sally Keighley of Cafe 1925 and Dede MacGillvray of Croft No 8, who will also help the chefs with their prep. After time up, Sharon Campbell of An Crubh has the enviable task of tasting the finished dishes and the audience will decide the winner.
After the event, An Crubh will serve-up a special high tea from a mouth-watering menu and served with lashings of bread and butter, tea or coffee, followed by scones and jam.
