Festival launches with a seafood theme
The 2019 Skye Food & Drink Festival kicks off with a seafood themed launch with food and music in An Crùbh, Skye’s newest community hub and café.
Ready Steady Cook Seafood Challenge
Two top Skye chefs battle it out against the clock to create fantastic meals from mystery ingredients in the festival version of Ready, Steady Cook.
Marcello Tully of Kinloch Lodge and Scott Davies of the Three Chimneys will pit their culinary might against one another in a fun and entertaining battle of the giants.
Who will flounder and who will sail home with the honour of the finest dish? The audience will decide.
High tea and sea shanties
The event will be followed by a special An Crùbh High Tea (payable separately) and live music with a nautical theme from Captain Rick Taylor, Roger the Cabin Boy and a pair of fine operatic voices.
